Perez gets demoted to bullpen

Oliver Perez is gone from the spring starting rotation and will get a shot in the bullpen.

``I talked to Ollie today and told him we had decided we think the place where he would probably help us the most is being a situational lefty," manager Terry Collins was quoted today. "He said he understood, and he's going to do the best he can to help us in the bullpen."

Most observers still expect Perez to be cut before Opening Day.
