Polanco still holding off Wright
David Wright's late push to overtake Placido Polanco as the starting NL third baseman is coming up short so far. Polanco still leads in the latest results that just came out minutes ago.
Polanco has received 1,418,096 votes to Wright's 1,395,461. The Mets' third baseman has closed the game to some degree, however. Wright trailed by roughly 130,000 votes last week and that margin has been trimmed to less than 24,000.
