Pujols strikes out thrice, but Cards win
In today's exhibition game with the Cardinals, Mets starter R.A. Dickey struck out Albert Pujols twice and Tim Byrdak fanned the Cardinals' slugger in the fifth inning.
However, the Mets lost, 3-2. Dickey gave up one run and struck out four in three innings.
The Mets got two hits apiece by Jason Bay, Nick Evans and Ruben Tejada, who continued his hot spring hitting.
