Reports: Towers to be named GM in Arizona
Scratch Kevin Towers as the Mets next general manager. Several reports indicate the Yankees' special assistant will be announced as the new GM of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Towers spent 14 seasons as general manager of the Padres before being fired after the 2009 season.
