Reyes, Collins will monitor heat Thursday

With temperatures near 100 degrees, Terry Collins said he’ll check with Jose Reyes to make sure the shortstop is ready for Thursday's 12:10 p.m. game.
“He told me today he felt great again,” Collins said before the game. “We’ll assess it every night, every day.’’
The Mets also have a day game after a night game Saturday in Florida. “That might concern me,” Collins said.
