Reyes scratched with stiff lower back
Jose Reyes was scratched from tonight's lineup roughly an hour before first pitch because of a stiff lower back. It's unclear how Reyes was hurt, but he left the field during batting practice with trainer Ray Ramirez at one point and later returned in a t-shirt to play catch. After a few tosses, he headed for the clubhouse in a huff, trailed closely by Jerry Manuel and trainer Ray Ramirez. About 30 minutes later, the Mets put out a new lineup, and here it is:
Feliciano - CF
Tejada - SS
Wright - 3B
Davis - 1B
Bay - LF
Carter - RF
Barajas - C
Cora - 2B
Pelfrey - SP
