Selig doesn't think replay with be expanded this season
While in Secaucas to report on the first-year player draft, Jim Baumbach had a chance to speak with Bud Selig about what's next for baseball and instant replay.
With the near-perfect game by Detroit's Armando Galarraga last week still fresh, Selig is clearly taking his time with a decision. Selig said said he doesn't expect any changes to umpiring this season, including additional instant replay. But he did add, "I never say never."
Interestingly, Selig also said he feels "extremely comfortable" not overturning the blown call that cost Galarraga his perfect game.
Baumbach has the complete story here.
