Shades of Bobby V in Brooklyn

Tonight is being billed as Mustache Mayhem Night for the Brooklyn Cyclones, where potential Mets manager in waiting Wally Backman skippers the team.  The first 1,000 fans will receive stick-on mustaches.

In 1999, then-Mets manager Bobby Valentine staged his own mustache madness when he returned to the bench wearing sunglasses and a painted on mustache after being ejected.

Backman already wears a real mustache.
