Speaking of homers, Pujols in town
While Alex Rodriguez again tries for his 600th career home run in Cleveland, potential future HR king Albert Pujols leads the Cardinals into their series with the Mets at Citi Field.
Pujols has a .317 lifetime against the Mets with 19 homers and 58 runs batted in. Those are Pujols’ most against any team outside of his own National League Central.
In his six games against the Mets at Citi Field last season, Pujols hit .429 (9-for-21) with two home runs and seven RBI’s.
