Subway Series gets huge ratings
The first installment of the 2010 Subway Series was a ratings hit in the New York area.
Friday's game averaged a combined 9.48 percent of homes - 5.04 on YES and 4.44 on SNY. It was the highest-rated Subway Series game in SNY's five-year history.
Game 2 averaged an 11.0, Fox's fifth-highest rating ever for New York in the regular season.
(Fox's experimental prime-time regional coverage averaged a 3.6 nationally in major markets, a three-year high for the Game of the Week.)
Sunday's game averaged a 12.2, ESPN's second-highest ever for New York in the regular season and best since a Yankees-Mets game in July 2000.
