The Reyeses (Reyei?) of the Mets
Who knew there were multiple men named Reyes in the Mets system. The first, obviously most-of-the-time starting shorstop and sufferer of an active thyroid, Jose. However, meet Mini-Reyes, or Raul, age 23, outfielder, and has been bouncing around the Mets minor league system since 2005. As far as the Internet can tell me, there is no relation between the two.
Curious that they are wearing the same number. Mets saving bank on uniforms to offset the cost of Jason Bay? Who knows.
