The Jerry Manuel watch is all but over, but the Bobby Valentine watch may resume.
With Fredi Gonzalez fired by the Marlins today, Edwin Rodriguez takes over on an interim basis. Valentine wants nothing to do with the opening at Baltimore, but Florida could be another story for the former Valentine, who has managed in the big leagues and Japan.
