This looks like the Mets had planned it. Jose Reyes walked to lead off the sixth, goes to second on Luis Castillo's sacrifice bunt and David Wright--having looked awful in two previous at-bats, both swinging strikeouts--drilled a line drive over leftfielder Alfonso Soriano's head for a double. Mets are up 1-0. Wright tied Ed Kranepool for first on the Mets all-time list for doubles, with 225.
And Jeff Francouer ended an 0-for-24 slide by punching a single to right, sending home Wright home and it's 2-0.
