The Mets announced Wednesday afternoon that they have signed pitchers Zach Muckenhirn and Denyi Reyes to minor-league deals with an invitation to major league spring training.

Muckenhirn, 27, has never pitched in the major leagues and is 21-21 with a 3.82 ERA with 387 strikeouts and 137 walks in six minor-league seasons. He appeared in 47 games with Triple-A Charlotte in the Chicago White Sox organization last season, going 3-1 with two saves and a 3.11 ERA .

Reyes, 26, made his major league debut with the Baltimore Orioles last season. He appeared in three games for the Orioles, including one start, posting a 2.35 ERA with three strikeouts and a walk. Reyes has a 45-28 record with a 3.29 ERA, 526 strikeouts and 89 walks in seven minor-league seasons.
