A-Rod and Tex: we're wearing the rings
There was some talk earlier in the week about the players not actually wearing the World Series rings. As Marc Carig of the Star-Ledger points out, two prominent Yankees plan on wearing the hardware.
Look, the ring is big and probably just a bit bulky. But if you had been waiting for one as long as A-Rod, and it had been a pretty large monkey on your back during that period, wouldn't you wear it every chance you got?
