Alex Rodriguez isn’t blaming his slump on the oblique injury that sidelined him briefly last month, but his numbers have dipped since he returned to the lineup. Erik Boland wrote about it in Tuesday's newspaper, and here are some numbers to back it up:
| PRE-INJURY | POST-INJURY | |
|---|---|---|
| Games | 12 | 16 |
| AB | 39 | 60 |
| H | 15 | 11 |
| AVG | .385 | .183 |
| HR | 4 | 1 |
| RBI | 9 | 10 |
| K | 4 | 14 |
