A-Rod leaves tonight's game
Alex Rodriguez, who was removed from Sunday’s game in Toronto because of tightness in his right groin, was taken out of tonight’s game before the Yankees came to bat in the second, replaced by Ramiro Pena.
Rodriguez said after Sunday’s game he first felt the tightness before the game and theorized it was a result of three straight games on the turf, which included Saturday’s l4-inning loss.
A press box announcement on A-Rod's departure is expected soon.
