A-Rod's future milestones worth $6 million
You have heard this before, but it is worth repeating. Alex Rodriguez' contract calls for him to make an extra $6 million for each milestone home run. That means homer No. 660 will earn $6 million for catching Willie Mays. The homers for reaching Babe Ruth (714), Hank Aaron (755) and Barry Bonds (762) all will be worth $6 million apiece, as will the one that sets the all-time record.
That means if A-Rod hits No. 762 and 763 on the same day, he'll make an extra $12 million.
