A-Rod slams Indians for 590th career HR
Alex Rodriguez hit the 20th grand slam of his career—closing within three of Lou Gehrig’s Major League record of 23—in the seventh inning of today’s 11-2 victory over the Indians. Rodriguez, who many think will become the all-time home run leader, trails Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755), Babe Ruth (714), Willie Mays (660), Ken Griffey (630) and Sammy Sosa (609).
