A-Rod will be youngest to reach 600 HR
Alex Rodriguez turns 35 on July 27. Babe Ruth was 36 years and 196 days when he hit his 600th home run, so A-Rod will certainly become the youngest player to join the 600 club.
All-time leader Batrry Bonds (762) was 38 when he hit No. 600. So was Willie Mays (660), Ken Griffey Jr. (630) and Sammy Sosa (609). Hank Aaron (755) was 37.
