Aaron Boone, Bucky Dent to throw ceremonial first pitch(es) before ALCS Game 5
Down three games to one in the ALCS, the Yankees are pulling out all the stops. They're having former postseason heros Aaron Boone and Bucky Dent throw out the ceremonial first pitches before Game 5 Wednesday afternoon, presumably simultaneously.
Of course, if memory serves me right, the last time Dent threw out a ceremonial first pitch before a playoff game was none other than Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS, perhaps the lowest moment in franchise history.
