Aaron Judge led the American League in home runs, strikeouts and walks, but those were not the only categories in which the Yankees rookie finished on top. He also was No. 1 in jersey sales.
Judge led the entire major leagues in regular-season replica jersey sales at MLBShop.com, becoming only the second rookie to finish first in that category. The other was the Cubs’ Kris Bryant in 2015.
Bryant’s jersey ranked second in sales to Judge since Opening Day of 2017, followed by the Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo, the Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw and the Nationals’ Bryce Harper.
Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez ranked 15th and Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard 19th.
