ALCS Game 6 second most-watched TBS show all-time
Game 6 of the ALCS Friday night was watched by an average of 11.9 million people, making it the second most-watched show in TBS' 34-year history, behind only Game 7 of the 2008 ALCS, with 13.4 million. An average of 18.4 percent of homes in the New York area watched the game, as did 28.5 percent in the Dallas area. TBS averaged 8.2 million viewers for the entire ALCS, up 36 percent over last year's NLCS on the network.
