Bengie Molina again. Intentional walk backfires
No sooner had TBS shown the three homoe runs Bengie Molina hit against the Yankees fior the Angels in the 2005 ALDS than Molina hit one just like it, live.
Note that this observer had called for Joe Girardi to yank A.J. Burnett last inning before something really bad happened out there. Not a second guess, that was a first guess. Having him out there was asking for more trouble with every pitch.
And let's just say that intentionally walking David Murphy, a lefty batter, to face Molina didn't exactly work out.
