Berkman is DH--of teammates
Seems that Lance Berkman can't do anything right. He hasn't hit much since coming over from Houston at the trading deadline to be the designated hitter to replace injured Nick Johnson.
You'll recall Berkman hit Alex Rodriguez with a line drive in batting practice, causing the third baseman to miss a game. Then, Berkman went to the disabled list with a foot injury.
This afternoon in the sixth inning against the A's, Berkman lost his bat while hitting and it just missed hitting Jorge Posada in the on-deck circle.
Did the Astros send him over with a jinx?
