Big raises for Hughes, Chamberlain

Pitcher Phil Hughes avoided arbitration, reports said, by accepting $2.7 miillion from the Yankees for his 2011 salary.
Hughes (18-8), 4.19) comes off an All-Star season. He made $447,000 last season.
Teammate Joba Chamberlain (3-4, 4.40) settled for $1.4 million. He made $487,975 in 2010.
