Braves release Melky Cabrera
Former Yankee outfielder Melky Cabrera is out of a job at age 26.
Cabrera, who hit .255 with a career-low four homers and 47 RBIs in 147 games for the Braves, was released by Atlanta.
Cabrera was part of the Yankees' deal for pitcher Javier Vazquez.
