Burnett likely out of Twins series
Erik Boland reports from Minneapolis that A.J. Burnett will pay the price for his poor regular season production when the Yankees face the Twins in the Division Series, which starts tomorrow night in Minneapolis.
It appears manager Joe Girardi will use a three-man rotation of CC Sabathia, Andy Pettitte and Phil Hughes.
Burnett (10-15) could be a factor if the Yankees advance to the ALCS against the Texas-Tampa Bay winner.
