Burnett vs. Matusz at Stadium today

Buck Showalter's Orioles are at Yankee Stadium for three games, starting this afternoon at 1:05 p.m.  Baltimore is 19-13 under the former Yankees manager,  including two victories over Tampa Bay over the weekend.  

A. J. Burnett (10-12, 5.15) will try for his second straight victory. He allowed three runs on six hits and struck out eight  against the A's in his last outing.  It was his first victory since July.

Brian Matusz (7-12, 4.72) is a different pitcher than the Yankees saw earlier this year. The lefthander has won three straight and had a 2.43 ERA in August.
