A big night tonight for Robinson Cano could give him one of the best first months in Yankees history.
Cano hit two home runs and lifted his league-leading average to .407 Thursday night. His home run total of eight ranks second in the American League. No Yankee has ever finished the first month of the season with eight home runs and a .400 batting average.
