New York Yankees’ Robinson Cano helped an MLB All-Star team to a 5-3 win over the Taiwan national team in the second game of their five-game series.
Cano scored once after a single, then doubled in an RBI to provide the margin of victory for the MLB squad in Thursday’s contest in the central Taiwanese city of Taichung.
In the first game of the series on Tuesday, the Taiwanese fell 7-0 in a game halted by rain in the 6th inning.
The two teams meet again in Taichung on Friday before closing out the series with two games over the weekend in the southern city of Kaohsiung.
