CC Sabathia on a three-start hot streak for Yankees
There was a time not too long ago — 23 days or so — when a CC Sabathia start was met with little excitement from Yankees fans.

Here’s a look at Sabathia’s last three starts for the Yankees, which began May 4 and then took a two-week break for a stint on the disabled list.
May 4: 7 innings pitched, 6 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts, 99 pitches, 3.81 season ERA. — Yankees beat Orioles, 7-0.
May 20: 6 innings pitched, 3 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 8 strikeouts, 98 pitches, 3.41 season ERA. — Yankees beat A’s, 8-3.
May 27: 7 innings pitched, 2 hits, 2 runs (0 earned), 1 walk, 7 strikeouts, 83 pitches, 2.83 season ERA. — Yankees lose to Blue Jays, 3-1.
