Chan Ho Park goes on DL; Boone Logan called up
Reliever Chan ho Park was placed on the 15-day disabled list today with a strained right hamstring. The injury was suffered while warming up in the bullpen during last night's game against the Angels. The Yankees are taking a cautious approach with Park, who is 1-1 with a 4.76 ERA in 5 2/3 innings, because he suffered a similar injury with the Phillies last season.
Lefthander Boone Logan was called up from AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, where he has a 1.35 ERA after appearing in three games. Logan pitched well during the spring and was one of the last cuts from the major league roster.
