Clemens: Court and links
Roger Clemens will be arraigned today in Washington on a six-count indictment alleging that he lied to Congress when he said he did not use steriods or human growth hormone. After the court date, Clemens is off to appear in a golf tournament.
It reminds us of the day when Pete Rose was banned from baseball, then spent the evening hawking his autographed merchandise on a television shopping show.
So far, the best line on Clemens comes from Newsday reader Paul Thurau of East Meadow, who wrote in today's rant, ``Will Roger Clemens enter his arraignment today wearing a Red Sox, Yankees or Blue Jays cap?''
