Colin Curtis returns to Yanks
Colin Curtis is back with the Yankees. The outfielder, who battled testicular cancer as a teenager, hit a memorable home run in July. He came off the bench to hit for Brett Gardner, who had been ejected for arguing during his at-bat. Curtis then belted a three-run homer, his first in the majors.
Curtis, who hit .256 in 22 games with the Yankees, batted .289 with five homers and 27 runs batted in for Triple-A Scranton.
