Curtis Granderson makes it 7-2 for Yankees
Curtis Granderson drilled a line drive home run to right to give the Yankees a 7-2 lead.
Interesting point by Ron Darling on the TBS broadcast: Texas had Tampa Bay down 2-0 in the ALDS and lost two clinching games at home. Cliff Lee beat the Rays in Tampa Bay in Game 5.
As it stands now, the Yankees, if they win Game 6, would face Lee in a Game 7.
But first thing's first. Mariano Rivera will face the bottom three batters in the Texas lineup in the ninth -- Jeff Francoeur, Matt Treanor and Mitch Moreland. Those three are 3 for 9 with two RBI today.
