Damon gets 2-run double during six-run Tigers rally
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Former Yankee Johnny Damon got off to a fine start in his Detroit Tigers debut Monday, going 2-for-5, including a two-run double during a six-run seventh inning as the Tigers topped the Royals, 8-4.
Kansas City's Zack Greinke departed after six innings with a 4-2 lead after allowing six hits and one earned run. "Zack showed us why he won the Cy Young Award last year," Damon said.- AP
