David Robertson throws on field before Yankees-Rockies game

DENVER -- Finally, it appears, some good news for the Yankees on the injury front.
Reliever David Robertson, out since last Wednesday when he felt some tightness behind his left knee, threw on the field before Tuesday night's game before throwing eight pitches in the bullpen. "Felt really good," he said. "I guess I'll be available tonight . . . didn't have any problems."
Robertson's last appearance came last Wednesday against the Astros when he pitched a 1-2-3 inning but felt the tightness breaking off the mound on a grounder to second.
"We'll see," Girardi said. "As long as he feels good [Wednesday] and throws the ball well."
