Cashman didn’t dispute fatigue could be a problem for the suddenly struggling Bartolo Colon, who hasn’t thrown this many innings (131) since he threw 222 2/3 for the Angels in 2005.
“It’s a fair, legitimate question,” Cashman said. “He’s in an area that he’s been in his career many times but he’s certainly in an area that he hasn’t been in in years. What it means, I don’t know.”
