A.J. Burnett did what CC Sabathia, Phil Hughes and Andy Pettitte could not: He put a charge into his team and a zero on the scoreboard in the first inning.
Burnett could not have been any sharper, giving reassurance to anyone who doubted he would get bombed right out of the box.
