Francoeur right at home, literally
Not only does Cliff Lee keep the other team off the scoreboard, he keeps his own fielders on their toes. He works quickly and rarely goes deep in counts. “It’s awesome. You know it’s going to be two, three, four pitches per batter and it’s going to be done,” Jeff Francoeur said.
Francoeur, incidentally, is staying at the place he rented while he was with the Mets. “I’ve got it through the end of the month, so it works out well,” he said. “Better than staying in the hotel.”
