Girardi names rotation for rest of week

Joe Girardi, who announced Sunday he will stick with a six-man rotation at least one more turn through, said Ivan Nova will start Thursday’s makeup game in Baltimore, with Bartolo Colon starting Friday in Anaheim, CC Sabathia on Saturday — on an extra day’s rest — and Garcia on Sunday.
Well before batting practice, bench coach Tony Peña worked with Jesus Montero on his catching, mostly on throws.
Girardi said reliever Hector Noesi will be called up from Triple-A today and didn’t rule out another arm or two — Dellin Betances, a top prospect, is a possibility — joining him.
