Girardi said he hadn't yet settled on a rotation for next week's series against Tampa, which includes Wednesday's doubleheader. Bartolo Colon starts Saturday against the Blue Jays, followed by Freddy Garcia on Sunday and Phil Hughes on Monday at the Stadium in a makeup game against the Twins.
With the injury to Brett Cecil, Blue Jays RHP Dustin McGowan was moved up from Sunday to start Friday. RHP Henderson Alvarez (1-2, 3.09) will stay on his Saturday turn and RHP Brandon Morrow (9-11, 5.23) will now start Sunday.
