Girardi is sticking with a six-man rotation and said he may do so the rest of the regular season. Phil Hughes will start Monday's series opener in Seattle, followed by A.J. Burnett and Ivan Nova.
Nick Swisher (left elbow) said he's improving and may be ready to play Monday. He did not take part in baseball activities Sunday, but Girardi said at the least he will likely take batting practice Monday.
