The Yankees agreed to one-year contracts with all three of their arbitration-eligible players Tuesday and also finalized Rafael Soriano's deal.

Soriano passed his physical, so his contract - which could be worth as much as $35 million for three years - is complete. The former Rays closer will be introduced at a Yankee Stadium news conference this morning.

As for the arbitration-eligible trio, Phil Hughes will make $2.7 million in 2011 after going 18-8 with a 4.19 ERA and earning his first All-Star nod.

Joba Chamberlain, whose role is undefined after the Yankees added Soriano, agreed to a deal for $1.4 million. Chamberlain went 3-4 with a 4.40 ERA and three saves last season.

Lefthanded reliever Boone Logan (2-0, 2.93) signed for $1.2 million.

The Mets had three arbitration-eligible players. Mike Pelfrey, the projected staff ace with Johan Santana expected to miss the first half of the season, agreed to a $3.925-million contract. Pelfrey (15-9, 3.66) can make an additional $50,000 in performance bonuses.

The Mets were unable to reach agreements with pitcher R.A. Dickey and outfielder Angel Pagan by the deadline for teams and players to exchange salary figures. If no agreement is reached before a hearing next month, an arbitrator will choose one of the salaries.

Dickey (11-9, 2.84) asked for $4.7 million; the Mets offered $3.35 million.

Pagan, who hit .290 with 11 home runs, 69 RBIs and 37 stolen bases, asked for $4.2 million. The Mets offered $3,062,500.

The Mets also agreed to terms with former Padres outfielder Scott Hairston on a minor-league deal.
