Injury update on Josh Hamilton and Cliff Lee
MVP candidate Josh Hamilton, who is hiiting .361 with 31 homers and 97 runs batted in, has resumed some light throwing, but may not play in the three-game series between the Yankees and Rangers in Texas. He has bruised ribs.
Pitcher Cliff Lee is expected to start Sunday. He skipped his last turn due to lingering back pain.
Texas has lost seven of 10 but still leads the AL West by seven games over Oakland. Texas is in Toronto tonight before retuning home to play the Yankees Friday evening.
