The Yankees just informed the media that Curtis Granderson's MRI revealed a "Grade 2" left groin strain. As expected, he'll be placed on the 15-day disabled list.
Righthander Mark Melancon has been recalled from Triple-A Scranton and will be suited up for Sunday's finale against the White Sox.
