Jason Kubel may have one of the biggest hits of the year for the Twins, but he's not exactly producing on a consistent basis.

It was Kubel, you may remember, who hit the go-ahead grand slam of Mariano Rivera in the Yankees' 6-3 loss to the Twins on May 16. Prior to that game, the Twins has lost12 straight to the Yankees, including a three-game sweep in last year's AL division series.

Since that game, Kubel has gone 5 for 26, which includes going 0 for 2 in the first-part of last night's rain-postponed game. He enters tonight's play hitting .211 on the season after hitting .300 year.
