Javier Vazquez to sign with Marlins
Free agent pitcher Javier Vazquez, who went 10-10 with a 5.32 earned run average for the Yankees, is said to be close to a one-year agreement with the Florida Marlins.
Vazquez made $11.5 mllion last season but lost his spot in the rotation and was left off the postseason roster in the ALDS and ALCS.
The Yanks will earn a supplemental pick in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft.
