Jeter: Better team is winning

Derek Jeter, king of the bland quote, actually doesn't sugarcoat his answers in dire situations like the one the Yankees are in right now.

After a 10-3 loss, the Yankees trail the best-of-seven ALCS three-games-to-one. And Jeter and the rest of the Yankees realize that if not for a big eighth inning in Game 1 this series could already be over.

 "The game is not played on paper," Jeter said. "It's played on the field. And so far they've been a better team than us."
